Problems Which Can Occur:

STAINS: Stains or marks that can be right in the surface of the face or back side of the glass. Will Not Come Out!

HALLOES: Impurities in the glass itself - they may not show up in the original silvering, but on resilvering they sometimes occur. The incidence is about one mirror in twenty; as they are faint and usually about 1/4" in diameter or less. It is not worth the added time or expense of buffing and polishing the entire surface.

COMET TAILS: Are caused by the presence of seeds (small pin holes) in the glass. These seeds become filled with the old paint and cause a slight problem. When the mirror is resilvered a small black spot the size of a pin head may occur with a small comet tail attached - these are infrequent and hardly noticeable.

SCRATCHES: Hair line or deep scratches and chips that are in the surface of the face or back side of the glass. Will Not Come Out!

Rare Floral Design

* All custom work has to be paid for in advance. The process will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks after we receive the mirror and payment. There is an extra charge to remove and re-install the mirror back into the frame. Pricing depends on over all size.


* Be sure to package the mirror well, with bubble wrap plastic and news paper securly in a box. We will send it back through Fed-ex, Loomis, or UPS. in which the customer pays all the shipping cost both ways.
